Our Sustainability Story
A Legacy Built on Value and Vision
Roy began his career in radiator repair, building one of Miami’s most respected and successful shops. In the highly competitive South Florida market, Roy recognized the need to diversify and soon expanded into all aspects of automotive heating and cooling repair. Among these, A/C repair quickly proved to be the most promising and profitable segment.
Roy’s philosophy was simple: deliver the best service and the greatest value to every customer — whether a local shop or an individual vehicle owner. One key to providing that value was the use of remanufactured parts, which offered quality performance at a lower cost and with a smaller environmental footprint.
However, early in his journey, Roy was dissatisfied with the quality of remanufactured compressors available from suppliers. He believed he could do better — and that belief became the foundation of COOLGREEN A/C.
From Local Shop to Industry Leader
What started as a small, regional rebuilding operation has grown into a respected brand with a customer base across South Florida and beyond. Over time, COOLGREEN began supplying not only Roy’s own shop but also other repair facilities — including competitors — and eventually into e-commerce throughout North America.
As the company expanded, the next generation joined the mission, bringing new ideas, modern systems, and a shared commitment to Roy’s original values of quality, sustainability, and service.

Sustainability at COOLGREEN A/C isn’t a buzzword — it’s a daily practice embedded in every part of our operation:
Remanufacturing Excellence
We extend the lifecycle of automotive A/C compressors through advanced remanufacturing, reducing waste and resource consumption. Our process goes beyond traditional good/bad core sorting. We use a secondary salvage and recovery process that disassembles “bad” cores to identify and recondition viable components, improving core yield and minimizing scrap.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
Every COOLGREEN compressor is packaged in 100% recyclable materials. We use non-coated, non-litho brown corrugated boxes — simple, strong, and sustainable.
Resource Recovery
We recycle 90% of our cleaning solvents through advanced filtration systems, significantly reducing chemical waste. Even in our employee break rooms, we recycle glass, aluminum, and paper, ensuring sustainability is part of our company culture.
